What is a conclusion paragraph?
The conclusion paragraph comes at the end of your essay after you have finished developing your ideas.
What does it do?
It summarizes or restates the main idea of the essay. You want to leave the reader with a sense that your essay is complete.
How do I write one?
1. Give a counter argument to your chosen image. (i.e. why might someone else NOT select this as an image?), then, state why that argument would be incorrect or why your argument is stronger. This is the "shut down" of your opponent in a rap battle.
2. Restate the strongest points of your essay that support your main idea.
3. Conclude your essay by restating the main idea in different words.
4. Give your personal opinion or suggest a plan for action. In this case, give people a reason why they should care about dystopias in this day and age. Why are they relevant?
